ASSIA, a provider of software tools for dynamic spectrum management (DSM (News - Alert)) of digital subscriber line (DSL) networks, announced the release of ASSIA DSL Expresse 2.5.

The DSL Expresse 2.5 is the new version of ASSIA’s flagship product for optimizing the performance of DSL networks.

By launching the new version, ASSIA DSL Expresse 2.5 has set new standard, offering service providers the first mobile application for DSL network management and tools to plan conversions from ADSL to high-bandwidth VDSL.

Main features of ASSIA DSL Expresse 2.5 include ASSIA Expresse Pro, the first mobile application for DSL network management, as well as new powerful software tools to evaluate ADSL lines for conversion to high bandwidth VDSL.

The latest software offering enables DSL service providers to maximize delivered bandwidth, improve quality of service, reduce operating expenses, and improve customer service.

ASSIA software allows DSL networks to deliver high-bandwidth services, such as IPTV (News - Alert) and video on demand.  ASSIA has more than 45 million DSLs under contract worldwide.

Recently, ASSIA announced that ASSIA CEO John Cioffi will lead a workshop, “Building a World-Class DSL Network,” on December 1 immediately following the DSL Acceleration conference in London.

In other news, ASSIA Inc. recently announced that it won the Broadband InfoVision 2011 award for Broadband Access Network Technologies and Services - Fixed, with its flagship product, ASSIA DSL Expresse.
