GageIn is ushering in a new era of content-driven collaboration with the public beta launch of its enterprise-grade business information networking platform.
The platform is currently available for free to business users who can use GageIn.com to follow companies and explore relevant content such as news stories, press releases, videos, slide presentations, blog feeds, social media conversations, financial and analyst reports, case studies, and brochures.
In a release, Luosheng Peng, co-founder and CEO, GageIn said that "GageIn fills a critical void in the market by offering the only solution that equips professionals with information exploration and social collaboration capabilities in a single, unified platform.”
He continued, “Today, busy business professionals are drowning in data and, even more frustrating, some of the intelligence gathered remains hopelessly trapped within departmental silos. GageIn is designed to enable business professionals to explore information, collaborate with colleagues, connect with customers, prospects, partners and vendors, and promote content on GageIn or syndicate to social sites like Twitter, Facebook (News - Alert) and LinkedIn."
Equipped with an unprecedented stream of information at their fingertips, business users will now be able to leverage the social features of GageIn to collaborate with colleagues and make the right connections outside their organization to uncover business opportunities. Apart from this, GageIn can also be used as a platform for promoting content within the GageIn community, or via one-click syndication to popular social sites.
Tom Borsellino, regional sales manager, Manta said "I needed an easy way to keep up with my customers and sales prospects in order to present more relevant solutions to them. GageIn aggregates relevant updates and allows me to filter them by information type, giving me more control over my information stream than other tools I've evaluated.”
“It's great to get an email summary of relevant news in my inbox every day. I can monitor what's important to companies and even see what employees are blogging about, without having to search through numerous information sources. GageIn is a great tool for professionals who need to stay up-to-date on company updates," added Borellino.
Jeff Xi, co-founder and chief architect, GageIn said that "We discovered that the traditional models for networking and collaboration solutions needed to be turned upside-down to focus on business, not individual, needs. Unlike other solutions, we believe content is the foundation for yielding smarter connections, collaboration and, ultimately, better business results. Our robust content aggregation engine and features that allow users to customize, prioritize, and target information based on their needs is a core GageIn differentiator."
