Artificial Life has signed a partnership and distribution agreement with China-based Talkweb to publish a wide range of its Android and Java games on an upcoming Artificial Life Brand Shop for China Mobile’s app store, Mobile Market.

China Mobile’s (News - Alert) Mobile Market (MM) has around 20 million users, and it reported nearly 100 million downloads in 2010. It claims to be one of the most prominent app stores in Mainland China.

Company officials said that Brand Shops are one of the reasons for the success of Mobile Market. The shops provide high-quality apps and games developed by prominent interactive gaming companies.

The partnership and distribution agreement calls on Artificial Life (ALIFE) to introduce various mobile titles via the Brand Shop in the Mobile Market, which will allow the Company to tap deeper into the thriving mobile market of Mainland China.

The company is extending its presence in China through the main app store of the world’s biggest mobile phone operator, China Mobile, said Eberhard Schoneburg, CEO at Artificial Life.

The company will continue to explore more distribution platforms so that its games and apps can reach even more users around the world, Schoneburg said.

Artificial Life has been a pioneer in artificial intelligence and mobile technology since its inception. The company’s main business areas are high quality (3D) interactive (multiplayer) mobile games, mobile participation television, mobile business applications, mobile commerce technology platform OPUS-M and green IT solutions provided by Green Cortex.

The company recently announced that it will recruit beta-testers for the forthcoming title iSink U Facebook Edition, which is in the final stages of its development.
