Technology Marketing Corporation (TMC), a global integrated media company, in conjunction with Crossfire Media, has recognized Ixia’s LTE (News - Alert) service quality validation solution as a recipient of the 4GWE 2010 LTE Visionary Award.

Officials with Ixia said that the company’s test solution is the world’s first to verify the service quality of an LTE network using real-world mobile subscriber modeling and sophisticated metrics to measure subscribers’ quality of experience (QoE).

Ixia (News - Alert) is a major player in multi-dimensional testing for network capacity planning.

Company officials said that Ixia’s wireless testing solutions accelerate the deployment and quality of mobile data services end-to-end – from the LTE wireless access, through the mobile backhaul, and evolved packet core (EPC).

According to company officials, it is the only solution to support real-world mobile subscriber modeling and sophisticated QoE metrics, including perceptual voice and video quality scoring, connection latency, web page transaction performance, and file download rates.
