Ixia, a provider of converged IP performance test systems and service verification platforms for wireless and wired infrastructures and services, will participate in two events involving the financial community.

The two events include Stifel Nicolaus (News - Alert) 2011 Technology, Communications & Internet Conference in San Francisco on Feb. 9; and the Deutsche Bank 2011 Small & Mid Cap Conference in Florida on Feb. 17.

The presenter at the San Francisco event will be Atul Bhatnagar, president and chief executive officer, and Tom Miller, chief financial officer of Ixia (News - Alert). Tom Miller, chief financial officer will be present at the Florida event.

Open to the public, a live Webcast of each presentation will be accessible from the "Investors" section of Ixia website. Following the live Web cast, an archived version will be available on the Ixia website.

Ixia's test systems are used by network and telephony equipment manufacturers, semiconductor manufacturers, service providers, governments and enterprises to validate the performance and reliability of complex networks, devices and applications.

The multiplay test systems from Ixia address the growing need to test voice, video and data services and network capability under real-world conditions.

Earlier last year, Ixia announced that NTT DOCOMO, a Japanese carrier that provides mobile voice, data and multimedia services, selected Ixia’s wireless testing solution to validate the functionality of its pre-deployed Long Term Evolution (LTE (News - Alert)) network.
