Sennheiser Communications, a manufacturer of microphones, headsets and wireless transmission systems, announced that its DW Office wireless DECT (News - Alert) headset has successfully completed interoperability and certification testing by networking and communication manufacturers, including Cisco, Polycom and Avaya.

The DW Office was recently honored with an International CES (News - Alert) Innovations 2011 Design and Engineering Award. It is a single-sided DECT headset made for office professionals to keep in touch with customers and colleagues.

DW Office is an all new single-sided DECT headset for desk phone and softphone. The design shows comfort and effectiveness to move freely around without any wires. It features HD voice clarity and high-end sound quality, personalized wearing styles, simplicity of use, intuitive and easy pairing for desk sharing or phone conferencing, and full workday talk time with intelligent fast charging, also offering long-distance wireless range.

Sennheiser Communications' (News - Alert) DW Office has been recognized as compliant with communications solutions from Avaya, Inc., a provider of business collaboration systems, software and services. The DW Office successfully completed compatibility testing with Avaya one-X Communicator and Avaya one-X Agent soft clients and Avaya 1600 and 9600 series desktop telephones under the Avaya DevConnect program. As a Gold member of the Avaya DevConnect program, Sennheiser Communications can develop, market and sell innovative third-party products that interoperate with Avaya technology.

The DW Office successfully completed Interoperability Verification Testing with Cisco (News - Alert) IP Phones 7942G, 7945G, 7962G, 7965G and 7975G as well as with the Cisco IP Communicator 7.0.3. Sennheiser Communications is also now a Registered Developer within Cisco's Unified Communications (News - Alert) technology category.

Also, Sennheiser Communications announced that the DW Office has been formally recognized as being compatible with Polycom's entire range of SoundPoint IP and Business Media phones.
