Mavenir Systems and Imagination Technologies Launch IR.92-Compliant VoLTE Interoperability for US-Based Carriers

Jun 05, 2012 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Mavenir Systems, a provider of converged IP Voice, Video and Messaging solutions for wireless carriers and Imagination Technologies, a multimedia and communications technologies company, announced completion of IR.92 compliant VoLTE interoperability testing (IOT) of Imagination's HelloSoftV.VoIP mobile device client with Mavenir's IMS-based Converged Telephony Application Server (CTAS).

According to a release, Imagination's HelloSoftV.VoIP SDKs enable multi-platform mobile device solutions for delivering the full range of two-way, real-time communications, including Voice over LTE (VoLTE), Voice Call Continuity (VCC), Video and Voice over IP (V.VoIP), SMS over IP and Rich Communication Services (RCS). Imagination's VoLTE solution is fully standards compliant with 3GPP, Voice over LTE and IR.92 specifications, and incorporates multi-platform HelloSoft VoIP technology that features Acoustic Echo Cancellation (AEC) and Noise Cancellation (NC) to produce voice quality on 4G mobile devices.

Mavenir said its product portfolio includes a number of value-added servers, such as the Rich Messaging Server (RMS), the Presence and List Server (PRS), and the MMTel-compliant CTAS, that enable mobile operators to deploy new services to meet the evolving communication needs of their users.
