Teradici to Showcase PCoIP Solutions and Present Keynote at June 7 Philadelphia VMware User Group Conference
BURNABY, British Columbia --(Business Wire)--
Teradici, the developer of the PC-over-IP® (PCoIP®)
protocol, will sponsor and showcase its full range of desktop
virtualization solutions at the Philadelphia VMware User Group (VMUG)
Conference on June 7, 2012.
At this year's Philadelphia VMUG Conference, Ziad Lammam, director of
product management, desktop solutions at Teradici, will present both the
keynote speech, as well as provide demonstrations on how the PCoIP
protocol helps to deliver a rich user experience over LAN and
high-latency WAN networks. Teradici PCoIP solutions provide a unique
remote display protocol that is critical to the performance of all
VMware View™ deployments.
Teradici will also provide interactive demonstrations of the Teradici
APEX 2800 server offload card, which monitors the activity of all
virtual machines on a server and offloads the most active 64 displays,
reducing server CPU utilization by up to 50 percent. Also being
showcased is a joint healthcare solution with Imprivata, providing PCoIP
zero client users with fast and secure access to their desktops from any
location with a simple tap of their badge.
