LifeSize has introduced a new all-in-one HD video conferencing series, called Unity. This series includes LifeSize (News - Alert) Unity 50 and Unity 500. Both products are HD compatible, although Unity 500 is the premium product with higher resolution support.

According to the press release, LifeSize Unity 50 offers 720p HD support with tabletop or wall-mounted capabilities. It also comes packed with a 24” LED display and is aimed at executive offices, small workspaces and home offices. On the other hand, LifeSize Unity 500 offers 1080p HD support and comes with a 40” LED display for a larger picture. It is advertised towards executive offices and small meeting rooms. It also provides video communication in an “all-in-one turnkey system” that doesn't require additional tools to be assembled.

Both products have already hit the market and are available globally. LifeSize promises more products later this year in the Unity lineup, as these are the debut products.

LifeSize, a division of Logitech, specializes in video conferencing and presentation software that include HD systems for enterprises. It offers products either on-premise or in the cloud, and offers solutions for businesses related to multi-party HD video conferencing.
