Allowing users to experience high-definition (HD), multi-point video collaboration beyond conventional conference rooms, Sify Technologies has unveiled a new-generation Video Conferencing-as-a-Service, named Sify videomeet. The company has partnered with Vidyo (News - Alert) to provide this solution to the users.
A hosted video conferencing service, Sify videomeet focuses on integrated video, audio and Web conferencing. The solution provides point-to-point and multipoint video conferencing, along with the ability to record and replay the conference in any place, at any time. The customers of the users can now connect face-to-face with their teammates and other users irrespective of place across various end points that vary from mobile devices, such as smartphones, to dedicated immersive systems, such as Telepresence (News - Alert) systems.
One special benefit of having more than one end point is when combined with support to provide High definition video; they provide alternatives to reduce cost and problems of travel. They also provide simplicity in setting up, inviting, document sharing and Webcasting, the company stated in a press release.
