Netcall SEMAP+ Successfully Completes Interoperability Testing with Cisco UCM 8 and 8.5

Netcall Telecom’s Speech Enabled Multiple Application Platform (SEMAP+) has reportedly completed interoperability testing with Cisco Unified Communications (News - Alert) Manager 8 and 8.5.


Cisco Unified Communications Manager (UCM) is a powerful call-processing component of the Cisco Unified Communications Solution. It extends enterprise telephony features and capabilities to IP phones, media processing devices, voice-over-IP (VoIP) gateways, mobile devices, and multimedia applications.

In order to deliver tested interoperable solutions to joint customers, according to Cisco (News - Alert), the Cisco Developer Network unites Cisco with third-party developers of hardware and software to deliver tested.

Netcall is an accredited Solution Developer. The company stated that it shares Cisco's strong commitment to customer service and satisfaction. The company has completed interoperability verification testing based on criteria set forth by Cisco, and can provide its customers 24/7 customer support. 

The company’s offering SEMAP+ has been designed to “play nicely” with all technical environments. Customers can therefore “quickly” deploy a broad range of Cisco Compatible business applications, devices, or services that can enhance the capabilities, performance and management of their Cisco network, said company officials.

Earlier in April, the company announced that integration of Microsoft (News - Alert) Lync with its SEMAP+ platform. The integration of Netcall’s voice automated solution as part of the unified communications project ensures the seamless directing of the council’s customer calls to the most appropriate team, officer or automated service at all times.

U.K.-based Netcall (News - Alert) provides business process solutions for end-to-end customer engagement, incorporating call handling, callback, smart automation, workforce management, data unification and business process management.

Recently, the company announced that it won a Green Apple Environment Award in the national campaign to find Britain’s greenest companies, councils and communities.
