ShoreTel (News - Alert) has been one of the global leaders in a whole host of different Internet applications. The company has been working hard to increase its exposure around the globe, including recently opening an office in Delhi, India. 

UCapplications are the company’s bread and butter and it appears the company is starting to impress people in the United States as well as other parts of the world. A new report shows that ShoreTel’s market share in the U.S. has grown to more than eight-percent in the latest quarter.

Synergy (News - Alert) Research Group recently released a report that has to do with the IP Telephony market. Synergy said that their report shows that ShoreTel’s growth is the quickest in the Worldwide Enterprise IP Telephony. The report also shows that in the United States, that eight-percent share of the market this year is an increase from seven-percent a year ago. That particular increase shows a 13-percent rise in revenue over 2011 and a bright future for the company that is now ranked third in the US in the IP Telephony market.

"Our steady double-digit growth over the past three years reflects ShoreTel's commitment to delivering the most brilliantly simple solutions in the IP telephony market," saidPeter Blackmore (News - Alert), ShoreTel CEO in a recent statement.

Adding, "By offering customers ultimate choice and flexibility in both on-premise and cloud solutions, we continue to grow despite a still-slow economy. With ongoing investments in customer satisfaction programs, our worldwide sales team as well as our partner ecosystem, we expect to see ongoing momentum and long-term growth."

Synergy’s research team has commented that ShoreTel has managed to offer up high quality UC technology solutions at reasonable prices without having to offer up a lower quality of product. 

"Despite the economic challenges that have plagued most other vendors this year, ShoreTel's strategy of simplicity continues to drive healthy company growth and steady market share gains." Synergy added in their report.
