Developer of audio communications solutions for VoIP, Web conferencing, distance learning and video conferencing applications, Phoenix Audio Technologies (News - Alert), announced recently that it is adding four new distributors to its global network.
In India, Phoenix has appointed Orego Solutions, which Dynamic Communications will take the role of as distributor in South Africa, Alloy in Austria and Granteq in the Middle East. These professional visual communications and network solution providers will now offer Phoenix Audio Technologies' full range of conferencing solutions — including the popular Duet and Quattro families.
“Each of these companies, with their knowledgeable teams, are well-established distributors and experienced professionals in the fields of videoconferencing, IP Telephony, audio visual and more,” says Jonathan Boaz, vice president of Sales and Marketing for Phoenix Audio Technologies. “These key distribution partnerships will allow us extended reach into these areas of the world; we couldn’t be more excited to be working with them.”
Phoenix Audio Technologies develops microphones, speakerphones, audio conferencing mixers, software, PCI (News - Alert) products and other audio accessories meant to improve the performance of existing devices. All of the company's products features plug and play installation.
Orego Solutions offers a wide array of IT support services, while Alloy provides networking and communications equipment for IP communications, video communications, enterprise networks and industrial networking. Granteq, meanwhile, provides high performance audio visual solutions for the education, communication, and retail and hospitality industries. Lastly, Dynamic Communications distributes communications technologies, including video conferencing, audio conferencing, interactive solutions and CCTV products.
In June, Phoenix Audio Technologies introduced IP capabilities to its Quattro3 tabletop conference speakerphone. The Quattro3 MT305 combines the Quattro3 USB with the MT305 SIP/IP telephone, enabling Power over Ethernet (PoE).
In May, the company released a significant software upgrade for its Duet line of products. The upgrade includes HD wide band audio with 16KHz bandwidth, while introducing full synchronization of the audio controls between the Duet, the Phoenix Audio Setup Utility, and the operating system's mixer.
