eGain, provider of cloud and on-site customer interaction software for sales and service, announced that its eGain Cobrowse is now available for users of Apple iPad and iPhone (News - Alert) smartphones and tablets, as well as for users of Android-based devices.
Developed to ensure security, eGain Cobrowse simplifies the process of filling of web forms for customers. The solution works by establishing a communication channel between the customer and the business representative to help guide the customer through the entire process.
One of the major hurdles faced by business enterprises, in particular by financial, healthcare and governmental agencies pertains to filling of online forms to bring in new customers and during the on-boarding processes. Most customers get deterred by the complexity of filling forms online. It is estimated that close to 75 percent online forms get abandoned in the initial stages.
Business enterprises and agencies deploying the eGain Cobrowse can now provide the required secure call or text chat support for their customers using iPads, iPhones and other mobile devices during the process of filling web forms.
The Cobrowse technology has been designed to improve customer experience during the process of form filling, which in turn can help in boosting use of web form submission by customers.
