Though roughly a month old, the unique Video World Conference & Expo has attracted top flight industry executives from Level 3 Communications, Limelight Networks, Vidtel (News - Alert), Blue Jeans Network, RCR Wireless and DYN to the event’s speaker roster, with many more on deck.

The video visionaries, and the sessions they will lead, can be found here. Click on agenda for the latest detailed listing. The first-of-its kind event will be held on Oct. 3-5 in Austin, Texas and collocated with TMC’s (News - Alert) IT Expo conference.

Level 3 and Limelight Networks are leading forces for powering video change in the content delivery network (CDN) industry segment, with both having evolved far beyond video delivery to offer their customers the ability to optimize the viewing experience in many ways.

Level 3 is fresh off its acquisition of network services and facilities giant Global Crossing (News - Alert), enabling it to offer business of all sizes a broad package of resources for their diversified communications needs.

In addition to blanketing content delivery, Video World Conference & Expo has also landing upstart Vidtel and Blue Jeans Network, a pair of rising stars in the visual communications segment of the video industry who will participate in a panel discussion on that topic at the event.

The session will cover the business and technology advances in video conferencing and more as it portends to change interactions between companies and their external and internal customer communities.

Video innovator DYN, has also joined the speaker ranks, and will be showing how the infrastructure services company uses video sales pitches to get the attention of, and land, prospective customers. The company’s efforts to date exemplify how video can be used to advance the way firms do business.

On the wireless front, RCR Wireless (News - Alert) will be represented in a unique session designed to advise event attendees how to, and not to, proceed with mobile video. It provides this education by reviewing past and current best and worst practices in service provider deployments.

Video World Conference & Expo has been assembling the best and brightest minds in the video and broadband industry to provide attendees a depth-and-breadth education on all relevant items in the wide world of video.
