According to a recent study, 66 percent of CEOs want to do a better job of connecting to their employees. INXPO developed Social Business TV to create those connections in the workplace.

Now, Social Business TV has just received a major upgrade to Version 10.6. New features include XPOCAST for iPad, self-service configuration of language settings, a new Premiere theater and a new activity graph. The new Slate design interface uses typefaces and titles to highlight top programs, and the design theme includes expandable presentation displays complete with sorting options.

Social Business TV combines video broadcasts with desktop sharing, slides, and social media applications to create a ready-made privately branded multi-channel business TV station. The station can broadcast monthly addresses from the CEO, departmental town hall meetings, or weekly “Ask the Expert” sessions.

Departments can also roll out announcements over Social TV and showcase new product rollouts. All communications are offered in a 100 percent secure digital environment.

When viewers open the interface, they see a variety of channels as well as an approved guide of social business TV programs. The programs can be viewed on a computer, tablet or smartphone so that workers have the flexibility to consume content anywhere.

Social Business TV audience can provide feedback on programming, and analytics provide engagement metrics so that executives can tailor future communications. INXPO has a culture that welcomes communication and collaboration.

“We like to stay on the leading edge of online events technologies, but we know that we can't do it alone” said Malcolm Lotzof, co-founder and CEO, INXPO. “Many of the features we launched today come from direct input from clients and partners. And for that, we're thankful.

“In 2011, I started my own CEO channel using our technology,” Lotzof continued. “I named it 'Coffee Talk' and have been communicating regularly with our entire company via a live video broadcast. I made sure that each talk was a two-way, rather than one-way conversation. And employees tell me that they're better informed than ever.”
