TiVo Inc., a television entertainment provider, and Verimatrix (News - Alert), a specialist in securing and enhancing revenue for multi-screen digital TV services, announced a partnership yesterday at the IBC 2012 in Amsterdam that is targeted at enabling operators worldwide to deliver fully integrated video experiences to their customers while securing their revenue streams by the use of a security feature in Verimatrix Video Content Authority System (VCAS).
The merging technology of these two companies will help deliver safe video content. The availed content will be accessed through advanced hybrid set-top boxes (STBs) that make use of TiVo’s (News - Alert) user interface and through TiVo’s tablet, smartphone and browser-based experiences.

TiVo’s advances are making it a real hotcake with operators around the globe looking to deploy advanced television hybrid solutions. With the slogan “TiVo Everywhere,” the organization provides a unique experience to its subscribers across virtually all screens including its very own TiVo PVR.
The environment that they deliver (each screen anchored to the complete look and feel of TiVo) will allow smarter TV viewing which will encompass easy navigation through a whole load of digital entertainment content including linear TV, VOD, PPV and OTT/play services.
Verimatrix VCAS solutions are bound to grant an inclusive security infrastructure for advanced multi-network pay-TV services using the TiVo user interface, Joshua Danovitz, the VP and GM, International, TiVo Inc., avowed, "We are extremely excited to work with Verimatrix to help expand the TiVo experience to hybrid and IPTV (News - Alert) operators around the world that need advanced multi-network security in order to adopt our solution.
