Security Redefined by the Watchful "eye" of the Zavio D5113 Indoor Dome IP Camera from CCTV Camera Pros

When the need to capture clear discernible pictures regardless of the existing light conditions and speed of the object to be imaged, there comes the need for a camera that can rise up to the occasion. The Zavio D5113 Indoor Dome IP Camera is one such gadget. With the ability to record at rates of 30fps at a resolution of 1.280x720(720p) HD through an impressive 2.7mm vari-focal lens, you can be sure that no detail will go unnoticed.

In addition to these impressive optical capabilities, the camera also features Infra-red capabilities stretching up to a range of 50ft enabling the camera to record in low light settings or even in total darkness. Supporting these hardware capabilities are software enhancements like the wide dynamic range (WDR) enhancement feature that is a core stabilizer of images taken in either dim or bright light to deliver stable image output for live streaming or recording to an onboard Micro SD card.

The Zavio D5133’s design targets network video surveillance applications and will now be available to security managers. The device will be able to drive simultaneous video streams, each of H.264, MPEG-4 or MJPEG, a flexibility aimed at making the camera compatible with a wide range of video surveillance applications.

In addition to these, the Zavio-D5113 has a POE 802.3af compatibility, allowing the camera to run on a compact installation of a single Cat-5 Ethernet cable, both for power and video content delivery. It will also feature a single alarm input and another single output for external sensors and motion devices crucial in the creation of a complete burglar-proof security system.

Keeping an eye on the areas monitored by this impressive camera has been made more real time by the fact that feeds can be accessed remotely from a number of devices like the iPhone (News - Alert), windows PC’s Mac’s and 3GPP mobile devices with a specific compatibility with Apple’s iCamViewer iPhone application.

"We are very excited to launch the new Zavio D5113. The Progressive scan CMOS image sensor supports a great high definition video image. One feature that really stands out to me on this camera is the WDR enhancement feature,” said Mike Haldas, CCTV Camera Pros co-founder. The device is available online from CCTV Camera Pros for $389.99.
