The 11th annual TelcoTV Conference and Expo held from October 24-26 at the Las Vegas Hotel in Nevada has showcased a lot of video broadband network service providers in the U.S. Those who participated have been able to witness exhibits from many IPTV (News - Alert) service providers and video service providers (VSP) who have met and set the fast-track to profitable broadband services and products.

The TelcoTV 2012 conference was an opportunity for network operators, equipment, services and content vendors to come together and discuss, share and showcase their new products and services with attendees who may be in need of a new video monitoring device, in search of an evolving IP video delivery solution, looking for an independent provider that offers interactive TV apps and services, or can deliver services for Internet-ready content aggregation.

Among those who participated at this year’s event was Mariner, a provider of innovative IP video and TV solutions, which announced the support of four new customers who have deployed its Mariner xVu suite of service monitoring products: Both Duo County Telecom of Jamestown, Ky. and United Communications of Langdon, N.D. have chosen to deploy Mariner’s NetworkVu,  SupportVu (Mariner's help desk tool), ReportVu and Video Service Oriented Monitoring (vSOM) platform with Minerva and ADB TR-069 integrations.

ATMC Cable TV of Shallotte, N.C. and North State Communications of High Point, N.C., on the other hand, have chosen to utilize Mariner's vSOM platform with Microsoft (News - Alert) Mediaroom middleware.

These new partners agree that the deployment of Mariner’s xVu suites has saved them time and money in providing their customers with shorter disruptions in service and the best monitoring solutions possible.

ATMC and North State Communications have chosen Mariner’s xVU to ensure superior TV service quality on Microsoft Mediaroom deployments. IPTV monitoring solutions supports the Microsoft Mediaroom Client 2.2 IPTV Platform and enables these service providers the ability to monitor the IPTV user experience more efficiently.

These services also help to deliver an improved quality of experience (QoE) for IPTV service deployments and multiscreen video services while lowering OPEX (News - Alert) costs for multiscreen TV networks and increasing cost savings for service providers.

Mariner’s proven IPTV service monitoring solution, which was the 2012 winner of the IP&TV World Forum (TV Connect) World Series award for “Best Quality Improvement Solution” and the combination of Microsoft Mediaroom, is not only able to rapidly expand IPTV services worldwide, but provides the operator with scalable, high-quality troubleshooting tools to quickly identify and isolate service issues, while providing their subscribers the highest quality video experience and IPTV service for greater customer satisfaction.

Those interested in knowing more about Mariner’s service monitoring solution for IPTV, the so-called flagship TV care product, xVu platform, for service providers can visit the website at www.marinerpartners.com/.
