This isn’t what people normally think of when discussing “point-to-point,” but in this case, TalkPoint and Glowpoint (News - Alert) have partnered up to deliver an interactive webcast on cloud and managed services for video. In it, they will teach participants how to use cloud and managed services to increase communication efficiency, as well as return on investment, for one’s video endpoints, video systems, and immersive rooms.
In the event, participants will learn what service features should be included to give their video environment the best support possible, and how managed services can improve communication and ROI for video. It will also cover how managed services have grown and added value, as well as the challenges that companies face when providing executives with unique requirements with fully supported video, and more.
The event will be on Tuesday, November 27th, at 1:00 PM eastern time, and will last for 30 minutes. The event’s host is Michael A. Katz of Glowpoint, along with Glowpoint’s senior VP of operations, Tom Schroeder. TalkPoint’s webcasting technology will be used to broadcast the event, which can be seen from videoconferencing rooms, desktop or laptop computers, and iPad or iPhone (News - Alert) devices.
“We are excited about the opportunity to work with TalkPoint on this event,” says Darren Podrabsky, Glowpoint’s VP of Marketing. “Cloud and managed video services, like webcasting, help businesses deliver consistent, reliable video experiences to their users, customers and partners, regardless of the device they are using or where they are located. This, in turn, drives higher video usage, which is what will ultimately drive ROI.”
This is a promising webcast for those who want to learn more about cloud and managed services for video. Glowpoint has a great deal of experience with managed video services, so one would be amiss to not try and learn from it.
