SeaChange has announced that two more multiple system video service providers have decided to use the company’s Adrenalin Multi-Screen video platform. In addition to the multi-screen platform, SeaChange says that one of the two customers has selected the Nitro multi-screen user experience software for their needs. This announcement means that the company is adding even more customers to its growing list of 38 service providers, who service tens of millions of customers.
SeaChange CEO, Raghu Rau talked about his company’s recent developments in a statement saying, “The strong pace in Adrenalin uptake among existing SeaChange customers and, increasingly, new customers underscores how our strategic execution is delivering the gold standard in multi-screen software solutions. More and more service providers around the world recognize that our unparalleled innovation will help them get to market faster with exciting services to subscribers at home and on the go.”
The new version of SeaChange’s Adrenalin is one that is still open serviced but has taken on some Linux programming that will allow it to better work in a virtualized environment, which allows for automatic upgrades and installations. In reference to Nitro, the company is offering up a service that allows linear and on-demand content seamlessly across a ton of different devices including tablets and smartphones. Nitro uses the adaptability of HTML5 to offer up this kind of programming on as many platforms as possible.
With this announcement, the company is boosting its popularity across the entire globe. The company neglected to say which two companies had adopted their technology, but they did let slip that both are based in the Americas.
