Avistar (News - Alert) is coming out with a new cloud-based voice and videoconferencing solution, built to make videoconferencing available anywhere on any device. The Avistar ConnectWare is powered by the Avistar C3 (News - Alert) platform in the cloud, and has already proven itself on some demanding on-premise deployments.
As the first of the ConnectWare series of solutions, Avistar ConnectWare Conferencing is the first videoconferencing platform that uses the cloud to deliver a branded or “white labeled” visual communication experience. This provides Avistar partners with a flexible and economic videconferencing infrastructure, capable of supporting multi-party voice and video and deals with compatibility challenges between various video and UC solutions.
There are several benefits that Avistar ConnectWare boasts, such as its quick set up and ability to easily operate and maintain, and how it can power any solution with multiparty voice and videoconferencing through the cloud. It delivers differentiating levels of service, thanks to its intuitive management interface, and capacity can be scaled depending on business needs. The Avistar ConnectWare can also replace legacy hardware-based MCUs, as it provides a more economical multiparty infrastructure, and it includes interoperability support, security and encryption, and proven reliability.
“Avistar ConnectWare is the first of a series of Avistar cloud-based solutions that are designed to meet a specific voice and videoconferencing use case,” says Avistar CEO, Bob Kirk. “Avistar ConnectWare provides a cloud-based, interoperable and scalable multiparty voice and videoconferencing solution that can be branded to meet the identity needs of each technology, OEM and business partner – and is packaged and priced using a simple ‘buy as you go’ subscription model. We truly believe that Avistar ConnectWare is a game-changing solution and will disrupt traditional UC, mobile and telecommunications sectors and provide an important cloud-based infrastructure to our partners.”
This is an impressive solution, which will certainly prove helpful for Avistar’s customers. Videoconferencing is still in high demand, but there are often issues with interoperability and scalability, which ConnectWare addresses. This is the first platform of its kind, so get it while it’s hot.
