Sports fans across the nation will be able to live stream real- time, detail oriented, scoreboard data thanks to a new agreement between Telestream and XOS Digital, Inc. Telestream and XOS Digital, Inc. have jointly announced that they will be integrating XOS Thundercloud LiveScore with WireCast Pro live video production and streaming software.
Telestream, a provider of digital media tools, easily allows users to send any video content out to an audience no matter how it was created. XOS Digital, Inc., which specializes in collegiate and professional sports video technology, will provide fans with the most in-depth customizable scoreboard templates.
“Integration between our products saves steps for sports broadcasters by automatically capturing scoreboard feeds directly into Wirecast Pro for display in customized scoreboard templates,” said Barbara DeHart, vice president of marketing at Telestream.
ThunderCloud LiveScore supports scoreboards across almost 20 different sports. With the integration of Wirecast, teams and broadcasters alike can now simultaneously stream live real-time up to date scoreboard data across numerous platforms including YouTube (News - Alert) and Ustream.
Wirecast offers an array of professional-like features including 3D images, chroma key, titles, and even allows users to mix an unlimited number of prerecorded clips along with the live video.
ThunderCloud LiveScore also gives fans the opportunity to fully customize their scoreboard templates and what information they’d like to receive, depending on the sport and personal preference. The data is updated every one-tenth of a second, so fans won’t have to worry about loading problems, and will include information such as penalties, down and distance, balls and strikes, scoreboard and shot clocks.
“The ThunderCloud LiveScore Service and Wirecast Pro provide a user experience equal to broadcast-quality production,” said Chris McCleary, CEO, XOS Digital. Inc.
The technology is scheduled to debut and showcase at Sports Video Group’s League Technology Summit which takes place Dec. 10-11 in New York City.
