SeaChange International has a lot to be proud of this week during the Consumer Electronics Show (CES (News - Alert)) in the Las Vegas Convention Center. The company will show off new software across iPads, smartphones, PCs and other devices during this week’s international and highly anticipated event.
In Las Vegas, the company will also gain recognition as it gets a third Technology & Engineering Emmy award from the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS). In the latest honor, SeaChange won for “Development and Commercialization for Digital Infrastructure for Local Cable Ad Insertion.” The Technology & Engineering Emmy Awards will take place on Thursday at the Bellagio Hotel.
Also, the technology shown at the show will let users search for movies and TV shows, comment on social media, share content, and pause one device and resume the content on another. SeaChange’s technology also promotes content and places targeted ads – other features which will be demonstrated at CES.
SeaChange demonstrations are being held in Booth No. 14846 in Central Hall at the Convention Center.
“We’re excited to show that our integrated software products can enable video service providers to run full featured and fully monetized multi-screen services,” Alan Hoff, the company’s vice president of Strategic Marketing, said in a statement carried on TMCnet. “Our customers will see that Adrenalin, Infusion, Nitro and Nucleus, working in concert, deliver captivating experiences at home or on the go with the means to creatively market their offerings and grow their advertising business on every consumer video platform.”
Among the demonstrations the company plans are to unveil the SeaChange Adrenalin, a multi-screen video platform which can manage, monetize and deliver a high level experience to subscribers across devices. Also, SeaChange Nitro, which lets video service providers provide linear and on-demand content across mobile, PC, tablet and TV screens. In addition, SeaChange’s Nucleus soft box gateway will be showcased, which supports the Reference Development Kit software environment and vendor ecosystem. And SeaChange Infusion, which is an advertising platform for TV and Internet ads.
SeaChange’s customers include major cable operators in North America and Europe, and large global telecom companies.
