In an effort to provide enhanced, accurate listings data to their customers, Telia Danmark – a Danish communications service provider – recently signed a contract with VoodooVox (News - Alert) Inc., a US-based data analytics and mobile advertising network.

According to a press release, VoodooVox signed the contract with Telia Danmark for the development of a software module, which will facilitate Telia Danmark to provide enhanced, accurate listings data to their customers.

As a communications service provider, Telia Danmark offers wholesale telephony, transmission, data and Internet products to Danish consumers and businesses.

VoodooVox has developed a data cleansing, verification and enhancement software module for Telia Danmark that will allow them to provide enhanced, accurate listings data to their customers, quoted a press release.

This software module can identify data abnormalities, which will be recorded and reported for manual reconciliation and re-queuing by Telia Danmark staff, during the data extraction, transformation and load process.

The new system developed by VoodooVox for Telia Danmark is designed to input, “cleanse” and output 12 million listing per day for distribution to multiple downstream recipients.

According to VoodooVox, it leverages consumer analytics to provide smarter mobile advertising services for publishers, advertisers and operators. It provides real-time demographic information on phone calls and mobile ad traffic. And, it also facilitates companies to gain valuable insight into their call volume and application activity by working with its own proprietary information and data provided by third party aggregators.

In addition, VoodooVox’s advanced services and technology help operators to reduce costs, increase revenue per call and gain more subscribers. Precisely, VoodooVox’s services provide operators with detailed subscriber demographics support precision marketing; call center technology that improves speed and accuracy; and advertising opportunities that provide new revenue streams.

Officials with VoodooVox said that the company will receive an implementation fee and annual on-going licensing fees from Telia Danmark, via this contract.

Recently, VoodooVox was acquired by Call Genie (News - Alert) Inc. – a solutions provider in mobile local search and mobile digital interactive advertising. Call Genie Inc. acquired the assets of VoodooVox to create new and innovative product and service offerings, generate new sales opportunities, and extend further into the rapidly expanding mobile advertising market.
