Reporting on the voice of the customer, this week TMC noted that BodyGuardz, a company offering gadget protection products and consumer electronics accessories, has recently been recognized by Customer Service Institute of America with 2011 International Service Excellence Award in the small business category.
The company was nominated for offering exemplary customer service to its customers and was among others in the winner’s circle such as World Service Toronto (American Express (News
- Alert) Canada), OnStar and E-Trade, who were honored in other categories.
International Service Excellence Awards recognize organizations and individuals that exhibit exemplary customer service. Each nominee in the category was judged against the rigorous International Customer Service Standard (ICSS), including the results and continuous improvement of customer service initiatives.
TMC (News - Alert) also reported that ComScore, a market research form focusing on digital content, recently released its annual State of Online and Mobile Banking report for 2011 and one of the important findings is that customers are more satisfied with the websites of financial institutions and banks in 2011. This is a positive given the declining trend observed in the past few years.
Among other findings from the report, online banking gained more adoption in 2011, and the volume of online liquid deposit account (LDA) customers has more than doubled since 2004.
While satisfaction scores for 3 of the top 5 online banks saw a decline in 2010, it increased in a big way in early 2011, bringing them back above 2009 levels. Website satisfaction scores saw a positive movement, with almost 70 percent of customers satisfied with their financial institution's website.
And TMC had the news that Amtel (News - Alert), Inc., a global mobile device management (MDM) provider, announced that it received a 95 percent satisfaction rating in AOTMP’s 2011 State of the Industry Research.
AOTMP is a telecom management resource to both enterprises and telecom expense management (TEM) and wireless mobility management (WMM) suppliers. Its State of the Industry Report, which provides a listing of Wireless Mobility Management (WMM) and Telecom Expense Management (TEM) suppliers based on enterprise client satisfaction, serves as the essential guide to the telecom management industry.
The report provides research-based information about the current state of the telecom management industry and identifies key trends affecting the marketplace.
