TrueSight Into Application Performance Monitoring

By Raju Shanbhag, TMCnet Contributor

Looking to provide an end-to-end solution for monitoring Web application and data center performance to its joint customers, Correlsense has joined hands with Coradiant, a provider of end-user experience solutions.

Companies can quickly identify and solve problems that would otherwise impede business activity by using transaction management and on-the-fly transaction path detection throughout the data center, including applications, databases, proxies, Web servers, load balancers, service buses and message brokers. To provide insight into how data center components impact end-user experiences and service levels, Correlsense's SharePath IT Reliability platform seamlessly works with Coradiant TrueSight.

Correlsense SharePath provides a breakthrough in IT Reliability by enabling both a birds-eye and detailed view of how business transactions perform across the four dimensions (4D) of end-users, applications, infrastructure and business processes.

“Beyond performance management, businesses today need reliability from IT and the kind of actionable data that enables fulfillment of service level agreements," said Oren Elias, CEO of Correlsense, in a press release. "This cooperation reflects the market demand for an integrated solution that increases visibility into how transactions perform across the entire infrastructure so companies can quickly diagnose application issues in real time and protect the end-user experience.”

Helping companies to move from chasing fires to creating value across the organization, SharePath gives unprecedented visibility into how transactions perform across the entire infrastructure. On the other hand, Coradiant monitoring solutions help customers to measure and improve the end-user experience and understand when performance problems are occurring. The company helps customers to effectively isolate problems in the data center and pinpoint their exact origins with the help of Correlsense.

Recently, the company announced that it will hold a webinar with its partner, Metron, a performance management and capacity planning specialist. The webinar, "Transaction-based Capacity Planning for Greater IT Reliability?," which will discuss how transaction-level data delivered by Correlsense is used by Metron to improve the capacity planning process, reduce costs and better align IT operations with business objectives. The two companies recently announced a partnership to deliver advanced solutions for transaction-based capacity planning.
