Alert) network by unveiling new capabilities for iDEN development and enriching its tools available via the Sprint application developer program.
Developer needs can vary from creating an enterprise application that improves productivity, to developing the next social networking phenomenon or just trying to implement that idea they drew up on the back of the napkin. Through its app development program, Sprint offers developers access to the information they need, the means for enabling capabilities and a clear path to market.
Sprint is expanding its open location platform with the addition of TechnoCom (

Alert) Corporation to give developers more ways to create new location-based services for Sprint customers.
TechnoCom is allocation-based aggregator that provides customization and integration support services tailored to call center and Interactive Voice Response (IVR) based services.
In a release, Len Barlik, vice president of wireless and wireline services for Sprint, said the carrier is pleased to add TechnoCom to their developer program as a location-based aggregator. Because developers can work with a variety of specialized service enablers, they can create and launch richer applications that benefit from the speed and utility of the Sprint network. The company looks forward to seeing the useful and cost effective applications that developers can create for call center management and for other industries.
And also Sprint’s Developer Sandbox provides developers with free access to enabling tools and capabilities through different playgrounds. The company has expanded this facility to include iDEN and CDMA capabilities. With iDEN capabilities, developers can create and test innovative applications for Sprint’s Nextel and Boost brands.
Sprint has claimed that it invests in technology and processes so that its networks important features are easily accessed by developers. The company had launched Emerging Solutions business for rapid delivery of machine-to-machine and mobile computing devices to businesses and consumers. It is open to developing new business models and certifying new types of devices.

unveiled the Gobi embedded router.
