DSP Group to Demo Cordless Solutions, VoIP Devices, Connected Multimedia Screens

DSP Group has reportedly announced that it will demonstrate the new and advanced cordless solutions at an upcoming trade show.

 
In addition, the company is also expected to demonstrate voice over Internet protocol devices for home and office, and connected multimedia screens. The demonstrations will include connected multimedia screens that’ll run open platforms like Android (News - Alert). The open platforms have an intuitive touch-screen interface, and integrated voice, data, audio and video at lower system costs for mass market adoption, according to company officials.
 
VoIP devices for home and office are embedded VoIP and cordless solutions, such as IP-phones, IP DECT (News - Alert), and cordless PBX system for SoHo, and also office devices with large screen display for on-line information.
 
Company officials said that the demonstration of cordless solutions will include DECT/CAT-iq integration into home gateways, wireless headsets, monitoring/security solutions and a full range of cordless phones.
 
Design based on open systems such as Android, DSP Group’s (News - Alert) chip-sets provide VoIP, DECT, Wi-Fi, multimedia and high definition voice capabilities for connected devices at home.
 
Oz Zimerman, corporate vice president of marketing at DSP Group, noted that the growing popularity of multimedia applications and open platforms has created a whole new breed of connected devices for the home.
 
“As the first company to bring Android to the home phone, and the only provider of a SoC solution including DECT, WiFi (News - Alert) and multimedia, we are committed to shape the future of converged communications at home,” Zimerman said.
