InPhonex and GotVoice Transform Voicemails to Text

By Anil Sharma, TMCnet Contributor

GotVoice, Inc., a voice messaging company, and InPhonex (News - Alert), a next generation international communications provider, have joined forces to provide customers with an innovative service that allows them to unify voicemails from multiple, disparate systems and transform them into text with business-class quality and accuracy.

Thanks to the pact, InPhonex customers can now achieve unprecedented levels of productivity by reading voicemail messages aggregated from multiple mailbox locations – in email, SMS, or through InPhonex's web portals.

Built on GotVoice's (News - Alert) new G2 technology, InPhonex's Voice2Text is available immediately for channel partners and InPhonex's subscribers.

"It's easy to leave a message for someone using voicemail, but it's easier to receive and read voicemail in email as text as opposed to listening to it," said Curt Blake (News - Alert), CEO of GotVoice, in a statement.

"Our technology is effectively changing the way people communicate – making business professionals more efficient by streamlining their communication process."

A pioneer in the integration of voice messaging services, GotVoice enables the convergence of everyday voice into the digital world. Its patented communications platform empowers consumers and businesses to receive, consume and unify voice communications utilizing email clients, through their mobile phone interface or via the GotVoice Website.

With popular features such as Voicemail-to-Text, Visual Voicemail, the ability to share voice messages as digital audio files and the unification of wireless, landline, PBX and VoIP voicemail, GotVoice makes seamless communication possible, anywhere.

GotVoice's advanced and scalable G2 (News - Alert) technology platform retrieves voicemails from customers' multiple voicemail systems and then transforms messages into text with unrivaled accuracy and speed.

The new InPhonex service enables users to quickly scan messages in email and digest them at a glance as opposed to listening through cumbersome voicemail sequentially. GotVoice's G2 platform is patented, and is the first-of-its-kind to unify mobile, home, PBX, VoIP, and IP-based PBX voice messages – and requires no carrier or PBX vendor integration.

"Our customers and partners look to us to bring next-generation communication tools to the table," said Matt Bramson, chief sales officer of InPhonex. "Our partnership with GotVoice further enables us to expand the range and richness of our solutions for our customers."

InPhonex is a provider of Internet telephony services and infrastructure for business and residential users worldwide. InPhonex offers resellers worldwide a private-label VoIP program through its VarPhonex (News - Alert) business unit.
