ADTRAN reportedly announced that Technology Marketing Corporation (TMC (News - Alert)) conferred the Best of Show Award in the Editor’s Choice Category at TMC’s INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference and EXPO East 2009 held recently in Miami. 

The award was in acknowledgement of ADTRAN’s (News - Alert) NetVanta product lines, shown below, that are used for IP business communication solutions. IP related technologies are, as reported earlier by TMC, among the most discussed, fastest growing, revenue generating, and future business sustaining solutions on the planet.

The solutions are suitable for facilitating communications by providing network access to numerous subscribers simultaneously by sharing frequencies to transport multiple dual way signals. These devices can be used by service providers and end users to streamline and accelerate digital information to and from servers.

A few of ADTRA’s products are: The NetVanta 7000 Series that delivers VoIP by communicating and interoperating with divergent network technologies and products. Each product comes with an ADTRAN Operating System that has user friendly graphic user interfaces and supports voice quality metrics and audio quality measurement reporting.

The Total Access 900 Series are IP business gateways that are designed for small and medium businesses and for enterprises that have many small offices or agents operating across different geographies. This product range takes care of IP routing, security via firewalls, interacts and switches automatically between analog and Session Initiation Protocol (News - Alert) (SIP) functions, and manages tunnelling to permit hosted virtual private networks.

The IP 400 to 700 Phone series are SIP phones with some of them accommodating 6 to 12 lines.

The NetVanta 150 is a wireless access point that connects to the internet via routers or servers and delivers wireless communications via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or any other IEEE 802.11 complaint technologies.
