CyberData Corporation Intros Indoor Intercom with More Powerful Features

CyberData Corporation, an OEM design and manufacturing firm that develops peripheral devices for Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) phone systems, reportedly released the latest product in their VoIP paging and access control product line – the VoIP Indoor Intercom.

Features of the new Indoor Intercom include peer-to-peer communication, door open and tamper event notification, and relay and button control. The neutral colored housing unit can easily integrate into business settings, medical offices and condominium complexes.

Company officials say that regardless of the economy, both domestic and international customers have embraced CyberData’s (News - Alert) VoIP paging and access control devices, and their ability to develop custom application specific endpoints for unified communications.

According to Phil Lembo, president and CEO of CyberData, the company was inspired to design and develop a less industrial version of the intercom after listening to their clients’ needs. The Indoor Intercom has all the features of the existing intercom, and will fit within more formal settings such as medical offices and condominium complexes, he added.

CyberData is planning to release related products throughout this year, Lembo added.

Recently, TMCnet reported  that CyberData teamed with Objectworld Communications to offer verified unified communications paging solution for SMBs. As per the deal, CyberData will offer a portfolio of connectivity solutions that includes a range of POS, retail and VoIP endpoints for unified communications.

These products can be used in combination with Objectworld (News - Alert) UC Server as a standalone paging system, an add-on to existing PBXs, or as a fully unified communications solution with paging capabilities, officials said.

The companies hope that Objectworld UC Server's paging capabilities, in combination with CyberData's SIP paging devices, will create new market opportunities for integrated or stand alone paging solutions for solutions providers and customers.
