By Susan J. Campbell, TMCnet Contributing Editor

Whaleback Systems has announced an expansion to its partner community. The managed voice provider has added DJJ Technologies as a member of its MVP Partner Program, which is designed to interconnect value added resellers (VARs), network integrators and IT services companies to deliver managed voice services.

Based in Islandia, N.Y., DJJ Technologies has regional offices in New York City and Scottsdale, Az. The company was founded in 1991 and specializes in the design, sales, implementation and support of converged voice, video and data solutions for businesses.

“Whaleback’s Hosted Telephony solution provides a fully managed, feature rich business telephone service designed specifically to help small to mid-sized companies be more competitive and efficient,” said Liz D’Alesandro, Director of Managed Services for DJJ Technologies. “Its low, fixed monthly cost for equipment, service, monitoring and maintenance can significantly reduce the monthly operating costs and large capital equipment expenses associated with acquiring a new business telephone system. This approach is particularly attractive in today’s challenging economy.”

Whaleback offers an innovative service delivery architecture that is designed to provide end-to-end quality of service management for voice services that are delivered over an IP-based broadband network infrastructure.

This service can be used to connect multiple offices and expose users to a unified, highly reliable and feature rich business telephone solution. This architecture has been adapted by DJJ Technologies to its Service Advantage suite of managed voice, video and data services. The company has now launched the service in the New York are market.

“DJJ Technologies is one of the leading solution providers for voice, video and data services in the Long Island and New York region and we are pleased to have them join our partner program,” said David Zwicker, Whaleback Systems (News - Alert) Vice President of Marketing. “We believe that DJJ Technologies’ customers who desire a hosted telephony solution will embrace the technology and business benefits of Whaleback’s managed voice solution and the synergy resulting from our partnership with DJJ.”

Managed voice services have gained rapid adoption and integration almost since the introduction of the technology. It offers full integration, lower cost and the ability to streamline communications on the network, helping to create a significant value proposition.

As a result of this strong market performance, companies like Whaleback and DJJ Technologies are able to partner together to build on each others’ strengths in the marketplace. In doing so, these companies can extend their reach into broader areas to make a greater impact.
