Arapahoe Community College has
formulated a two-year online degree program in telecommunications technology to help people who are seeking a career or currently employed in the telecommunications sector.
The program includes VoIP, in-depth AC/DC electrical training, wired and wireless technology, industry standards and substantial training on video, voice and data technologies, troubleshooting and network security.
Arapahoe Community College founded in 1965, is a community college located in Littleton, Colo., and its new program is said to be the only telecommunications program at a community college in the state.
The college’s staff works with professionals in the telecom sector gain valuable insights about the industry and now plans to use that knowledge to chart the degree program. Graduates enrolling in the program will be helped to prepare themselves to work and lead others in the competitive, rapidly changing telecommunications and broadband industries.
