Luxembourg-based Voice over IP Operator, voipGATE (News - Alert), has announced the launch of an online store that provides a variety of VoIP dedicated products that have been tested, certified and are in line with voipGATE’s services.

 

The decision was made following customers’ questioning on the adequate material to use. The company collaborated with their logistics and distribution partner ACBS Europe, to set up this new online store featuring a selection of products ranging from VoIP phones to IP telephony devices (VoIP gateways, VoIP modems/routers, IP PBX etc).

 

Jorge Marques (News - Alert), COO of voipGATE explained that they have joined hands with their hardware partners to provide a wide range of products that meet the different types of customers and needs.

 

The move has also been made due to the increasing popularity of VoIP. A number of

hardware devices are now available in the market and they provide an improved experience of Voice over Internet Telephony (News - Alert). The online store will highly facilitate the use of VoIP and its expansion.

 

Business Development & Sales Director of ACBS Europe, Jocelyne Morin informed that they are responsible for the complete management of the e-shop and offer a global assessment in a lot of e-commerce areas such as creation of the e-shop, logistics, customer service, payment handling, and management of the back office.

 

Marques finds the collaboration with ACBS on this project to be very important and recognizes that their expertise in the field brings great reliability and a guarantee of quality.

 

Last month, voipGATE made headlines when they announced they were partnering with Avaya, a global provider of business communications software, systems and services to offer an alternative telecommunication solution through Voice over IP.
