Citrix Online Integrates Toll-Free Audio Services for GoToMeeting and GoToWebinar

Citrix Online (News - Alert), a division of Citrix Systems Inc., has added integrated toll-free audio services for GoToMeeting Corporate and GoToWebinar users. This move is being positioned as part of the company’s efforts to reinforce its leadership and record of innovation.

Elizabeth Cholawsky, vice president of products and client services at Citrix Online, said that, with the addition of the company’s innovative toll-free audio option, customers have an unbeatable combination of the simplest, most comprehensive and affordable audio service in the industry.

“Our initial beta customers have been especially pleased with the flexible and predictable pricing plans,” Cholawsky said. “We’re confident that this expanded audio platform will drive even greater adoption of GoToMeeting and GoToWebinar.”

This addition will allow participants to have access to a range of audio options, including integrated toll-free, a toll-based number or VoIP for audio over the Internet. Participants in the same online meeting can select the audio option that is best for their needs.

Andy Nilssen, senior analyst and partner at Wainhouse (News - Alert) Research, said that the company’s annual survey of North American users of conferencing services reveals that the overwhelming majority – 89.1 percent –  believe there is personal value in an integrated audio and Web conferencing service vs. two independent providers

The audio services offer features that are designed to be flexible and easy-to-use. As a result, meeting organizers will be able to predict costs through affordable flat-rate plans. These options are all available from Citrix Online in what is considered to be one convenient and easy way to customers to fulfill all of their audio and Web conferencing needs.

“The simplicity of being able to initiate a single conference with audio and Web capabilities combined with the ability to visually present audio control elevates the elegance of the entire virtual meeting experience,” Nilssen said. “This will no doubt increase the appeal of Citrix Online’s portfolio among companies of all sizes.”

Those customers hosting meetings with integrated tool free will be able to enjoy seamless one-click recording for all attendees with no additional charges or equipment necessary; affordable and predictable subscription-based pricing that is scalable; and simple scheduling and management features with convenient controls for supporting audio sessions.

“GoToMeeting has completely changed the way we meet with customers—we collaborate extensively at a moment’s notice and with very little cost, as a result it’s become the standard meeting platform throughout our company,” Christine Pullin, marketing manager at Electronic Commerce, Inc., said. “With integrated toll-free audio, we’ve now enhanced the meeting experience for our customers giving them attractive audio options and mutually beneficial cost savings.”

Frost & Sullivan (News - Alert) recently named the company the market leader in remote support for GoToAssist Corporate and GoToAssist Express, with 40 percent market share in North America and 30 percent worldwide.
