Sangoma Officials Highlight Interface Card, Gateway Benefits for Carriers

By David Sims, TMCnet Contributing Editor

Officials of ITEXPO East Diamond sponsor Sangoma say the company’s interface cards and gateways for carriers come with some commendable benefits.

They're cost-effective in providing telephony connectivity, as well has having the highest voice quality in its class and multi-application support.

Company officials also tout their compact form factor with 2U height fits in all major server or computer types, as well as their worldwide distribution, support and certifications, and the lifetime warranty on all hardware.

Sangoma sells its products to carriers throughout the world, saying it’s used primarily to deliver enhanced services from its network including VoIP termination, calling cards, least cost routing, mobile connectivity services, notification/outbound marketing applications and other features.

Using Sangoma's connectivity hardware and software (with SS7, PRI and/or SIP connectivity) carriers are able to implement flexible, high-performance and low cost applications, company officials say.

The company acquired Paraxip Technologies in July 2008, "which gave our company a great set of software building blocks that enable improved efficiency and reduced costs in running contact center applications," Sangoma officials said, adding that the NetBorder Software Suite adds smart connectivity to IP-based contact center applications such as inbound, outbound, routing and IVR.

And as such, "it allows IP contact center solutions to connect to legacy PSTN equipment, to be enhanced with superior Call Progress Detection for automating outbound or notification campaigns, to integrate remote agents into the IP infrastructure, and to have IP contact centers deployed in configurations without a costly soft switch."

Late last year, TMC's (News - Alert) Stefania Viscusi wrote that Sangoma announced Argentina-based GlobalThink Technology joined the company’s Global Partner Program as a Certified Application Partner in a bid to help further promote their new DENWA IP-PBX (News - Alert).

GlobalThink, a developer of telecommunications, recently introduced DENWA, which runs on Sangoma's telephony cards and offers customers high quality voice and audio as well as customizable tool???s for their wireless, broadband, wireline and next generation communications product???????s.

Sangoma is a Diamond sponsor of ITEXPO East 2011. To be held Feb. 2-4 in Miami, ITEXPO (News - Alert) is the world’s premier IP communications event. Visit Sangoma in booth #401. Don’t wait. Register now.
