With the adoption of unified communications platforms in call centers, greater advancement in technology is required so that agents can meet high customer demands. In light of this, Jabra (News - Alert) recently revealed its new Jabra LINK 850 audio processor, which is compatible with both standard telephone systems and VoIP platforms, to make things a bit easier.

Along with a Jabra headset, the LINK 850 is expected to boost agent productivity, improve customer satisfaction and reduce employee turnover. The solution has been designed to include easy setup, use and maintenance for increased productivity throughout contact centers. Additionally, it can be connected to any phone with a modular connector and features easy USB power connectivity to PCs.

Sound quality is also drastically improved thanks to Digital Signal Processing (DSP) and phone line noise reduction features. Agents can now also understand customers more clearly, and therefore can more efficiently avoid repetition of information, improving call turn time and customer satisfaction. The volume control and muting capability furthermore increases efficiency of agents who can make more calls, explained officials.

“The Link 850 was designed specifically with productivity and performance in mind, meaning Call Center managers can rest assured that their agents are receiving the most value for their investment,” said Pete Fox, president and GM, Jabra North America. “When used with Jabra headsets, the audio processor really unlocks the full UC potential they hold to ultimately deliver an amazing customer experience.”

A Tone Control equalizer incorporated in the Jabra LINK 850 also provides day-long wearing comfort, the presence of PeakStop technology eliminates loud sounds which helps protect the ears, and the assured workplace quality reduces employee attrition also.

“Jabra is the company that cares about the wellbeing of customers, and contact center employees are the backbone of our customer’s sales and customer support efforts,” emphasized Fox.

Jabra also recently revelaed the Jabra Solemate, a multifunctional portable wireless speaker which enables music lovers to enjoy the freedom of big sound with strong, deep bass from an integrated subwoofer couples with rich, vibrant acoustics from dual tweeters. The Jabra Solemate connects to any device that can play music - either corded or wirelessly - using Bluetooth technology, a 3.5mm audio cable or USB cable, and caters to all types of uses, indoors or outdoors.
