Patton Electronics has selected ABP (News - Alert) Technology to deliver the new line of bandwidth-on-demand internet bonding routers, the BODi system. Introduced in August 2012 the BODi rS™ is designed for use with fixed and mobile enterprises of all sizes, and bonding capabilities reaching up to seven 3G/4G/LTE, WiFi (News - Alert)/WiMAX, or VSAT uplinks.
“We are confident that ABP’s knowledge and experience effectively positions them to introduce BODi rS to key target markets,” said Brian Lawlor, product manager for BODi rS at Patton (News - Alert). “As we launch this exciting technology together, we look forward to strengthening our successful partnership with ABP.”
Dallas, TX-based ABP Technology has vast experience in product introductions and distribution throughout the Americas and the Caribbean, which is why Patton is so pleased about the agreement. “Launching BODi rS with ABP was a no-brainer for us,” continued Lawlor, citing the company’s successful business relationship to date, including its distribution of other Patton products--SmartNode VoIP gateway and CopperLink Ethernet extenders.
“Beyond the opportunity to develop a thriving business relationship, ABP is the ideal partner to bring BODi rS to market,” added Lawlor.
Robert Messer (News - Alert), ABP’s president, expressed the excitement on behalf of his company at Patton’s choice-- “ABP Tech is delighted to be selected as Patton’s flagship distributor for this exciting new product line. With BODi rS we can offer our broad base of resellers and their business customers a great new enterprise solution which avoids downtime and cost-effectively enhances bandwidth.”
Patton has been rightfully promoting the new BODi rS line as cost-effective solution for increased bandwidth requirements, and for it ability to provide “five 9s” availability and 24/7 network connectivity. And, as they explain, these types of solutions enable businesses to operate with total flexibility, something most need, rather than just want, in today’s demanding market.
As ABP’s Messer concluded, “We view this appointment as a fresh opportunity to bring true value into a developing market.”
For those looking to see the technology in action before it hits the market, ABP will exhibit a host of BODi rS products from January 30th to February 1st ad the ITEXPO Miami (booth 322).
