An updated version of Mediacore, company officials said, also adds functionality to Guardian like the ability to extend setting of exceptions, individual settings for TP destination codes, a new simulation engine, decision making engine improvements, and more.

To help ensure that traffic quality and profitability increases occur for clients, company officials also said the offering  chooses carriers automatically based the best price and quality and that the Guardian system is constantly monitoring the destination, changes and chooses efficient routes according to specific rules for every customer.

During a recent interview with TMCnet, Vlad Ellis, CEO at Speedflow described their core product, Mediacore, as mirroring the evolution of the VoIP market.

“When the first version was designed, our aim was to extend traffic transit to basic tasks. Today, the product has evolved into a multi-purpose media platform which can process not only voice but video as well.”

“From just a simple transit tool, it has now turned into a tool for unified communications,” Ellis said.
