Vox Communications Develops Video Voice Mail

By Anshu Shrivastava, TMCnet Contributor

Pervasip Corp. has announced that its subsidiary, VoX Communications, has developed video voice mail. This development adds an enhanced feature to the Ojo Vision phone

The users of Ojo Vision phone cannot send a video message to the mailbox of customers without this development effort, said company officials.

“Our customers, including the customers sold to by our new marketing partner, Globalpreneurs, can now send and receive a video voice-mail message on the Ojo Vision phone,” said Mark Richards, chief information officer at Pervasip.

Richards expects that the extra features that they provide to the customers will give an advantage to organizations that market the company’s product. “Now grandchildren can leave their grandparents a special video message, or people can leave friends and family a surprise video message.”

The plan includes the video voicemail and true-to-life video calling experience. In addition, it also comes with a full suite of traditional calling features such as caller ID, call waiting and 3-way calling. Moreover, features like 3-way video conferencing, connecting to a large screen LCD or TV and unlimited video calling are also included.

Ojo Vision Digital Video Phone (News - Alert) features include high quality video over a seven-inch, high-resolution LCD digital screen; simple plug-and-play installation; enhanced contact list with snapshot pictures; display to external TV or PC Monitor for enhanced calling experience. Also, it works as a digital photo frame.

VoX Communications (News - Alert) delivers wholesale voice over Internet protocol (VoIP) telephone services for the residential and small business markets. It differentiates itself via a combination of high quality voice services, flexible back-office capabilities and automated provisioning systems.

Earlier this month, the company deployed a mobile-VoIP, unlimited data and voice service on the latest full-featured smart phone from Nokia.
