Building on success of New York event, premiere wearable technology event moves to Los Angeles Dec. 10-11
NORWALK, Conn. – July 31, 2013 – Building on the success of the recent Wearable Tech Expo in New York, TMC (News - Alert) today announced the event will move this fall to California – where fashion, glamour and technology collide. Wearable Tech Expo will take place Dec. 10-11, 2013, at the Hilton Los Angeles in Universal City, California, and focus on the present and future of wearable technology companies and products.
“The New York event was tremendously successful, with a sold-out conference program and demonstrations of some of the most cutting-edge products and technologies on the market today,” said Rich Tehrani, CEO of TMC. “In Los Angeles in December, attendees will see even more proof points that wearable technology is moving past the ‘cool technology’ stage and well into the mainstream across numerous vertical markets.”
The Wearable Tech Expo brings together the key players in the space – wearable tech inventors and manufactures, key hardware, software and fashion designers, enterprise and consumer application developers, connected device manufacturers, tech-oriented toy developers, fashion industry executives, healthcare executives, venture capitalists and much more – to completely define the wearable tech market, make the case for wearable tech as a bona fide emerging technology that synthesizes all things mobile, and look ahead to what is available today and coming soon.
Topics covered at the event will include:
- Wearable Tech: Benefits, Implementation, Products, Theory, and more
- Cutting Edge Wearable Tech Products
- Smart Innovations: Clothing, Home Interactions, Materials, Sensors
- Startups: Key Business Strategies for Startups and Early Stage Companies
- Use Cases: Fashion, Gaming, Healthcare, Sports and the Enterprise
- Personal Area Networks and M2M: Role of M2M in a Wearable Tech World
Conference Chair Tony Rizzo (News - Alert) notes, “Having just completed our Summer Wearable Tech event in New York City, we were quite interested to learn from our attendees that one of the greatest benefits they found was in discovering how much they had yet to learn about wearable technology. The opportunities are vast and our goal is to help attendees become serious wearable tech experts in order to take real advantage of these opportunities.”
