The technology world evolves at rapid rates—in the past ten years alone, cell phones have become camera phones, then smartphones, then tablets, and now wearable technology. Unvired Inc. recognizes these drastic shifts and has kept up with the developments, and now has released a new platform to stay on top of the changes.
Unvired, Inc., a mobile applications and development platform company, has released its app development platform for wearable technology. In doing so, it enables developers to build applications compatible with smart glasses and smart watches.
Unvired has observed the evolution in mobile devices from smartphones, tablets and the like into wearable technology; as both companies and consumers begin to evaluate the benefits of items like smart glasses and smart watches, Unvired has been keeping up with the trends. The company has recently launched its own Glass and Wear applications, and its first set of Glass apps offer warehouse workers the ability to check for stock overview and even perform goods allocation with voice or head motion control. Executives of such companies can receive notifications on smart watches of orders that need approval, and perform the approval straight from the wearable device.
"We see many business use cases, field service, healthcare, manufacturing, oil and gas, and utilities present themselves as excellent candidates for use of smart glasses and smart watches" says Alok Pant, CEO of Unvired. "Workers can get notifications, instructions, take pictures, record videos, view digital checklists in environments where hands free input and output of data is critical."
Unvired is doing its utmost to keep up with a rapidly shifting technology landscape, and as wearable tech continues its climb, the company seems poised for success.
