Vidyo (News - Alert), Inc., a provider of visual communication and collaboration solutions, recently announced a plan to bring its popular cloud-based video conferencing platform VidyoWorks to smart eyewear devices. As Google (News - Alert) Glass and similar offerings continue to gain momentum and the technology’s full potential for both consumer products and enterprise operations is gradually realized, companies like Vidyo are branching out into the smart eyewear sector to offer their own innovative solutions.
The VidyoWorks software platform lets multipoint video and audio communication as well as content sharing functionality be embedded into any application, service or device.
