A few years ago companies such as Vuzix were demonstrating how their augmented reality headsets were being used in warehouses and construction sites to make the work flow more efficient with the ability to resolve issues on the spot. As wearable devices move beyond just the fitness tracker wristbands, we will begin to see more devices being accepted into the workforce, or as it is being referred to, bring your own wearable (BYOW).
I don’t know how many people remember the days when there was a family doctor who knew every family member for a long time and was able to treat them from experience. Along with all this familiarity, there was the family doctor making a house call.
