MeLLmo, a provider of mobile business application for improving the productivity and decision-making of on-the-go employees, has launched Roambi Blink, which is designed to allow mobile workers to visually explore company data and answer critical questions in the “blink-of-an-eye.”
The Roambi Blink is a new Roambi View for the Roambi ES3 mobile application that connects directly to data warehouse cubes and transforms that data into secure, interactive visualizations that allow multi-dimensional analysis at unprecedented speeds, right from any iPhone (News - Alert) or iPad.
Roambi ES3 is a secure and scalable server solution that lets the user transform critical business reports and data — from spreadsheets, Salesforce CRM, Crystal Reports and premium business intelligence systems — into interactive dashboards for the iPhone or iPad. MeLLmo has also stated that Roambi ES3 now connects directly to the cube layer of the major business intelligence systems including SAP (News - Alert) BW, Oracle Essbase and Microsoft Analysis Services.
Users can utilize Blink to explore and analyze their data, and answer key business questions, even if they are not connected to the Internet. Blink users have to just tap and swipe to make immediate iterations and calculations – enabling on-the-go analysis at speeds not previously possible.
“With the launch of Blink and the expanded connectivity to data warehouse cubes, we are giving their customers a powerful analysis tool that provides lightning-fast insight into their data – whether from the cube or from an existing report – anytime, anywhere,” said the co-founder and CEO of MeLLmo in a statement.
Blink, a pre-designed template that MeLLmo calls a "view," joins five existing views, including Cardex (similar to a desktop Rolodex), CataList, PieView, SuperList and Trends. MeLLmo also planned to unveil another new view, dashboards, which combine multiple charts and graphs into single dashboard.
The Blink template runs on Roambi ES3 for enterprises that have been initially priced at $795 per user. MeLLmo also sells a hosted cloud service called Roambi Pro for $99 per year, per user. The Roambi client app is now available without charge from the Apple (News - Alert) app store.
