An exclusive and free travel application for Blackberry Smartphones, ‘MakeMyTrip Mobile’ was launched by MakeMyTrip, India largest and one of world’s largest online travel portal, in partnership with DbyDx Software.

Designed to ensure easy travel planning with added security, the application has already witnessed thousands of downloads with great reviews from various forums. Additionally, the MakeMyTrip application has also entered NASDAQ listing and is experiencing constant increase in its share value.

Acting as end-to-end technical partner to MakeMyTrip, DbyDx created the application by leveraging its technical prowess in BlackBerry (News - Alert) applications. Working closely with MakeMyTrip and RIM, DbyDx developed the innovative product from design conceptualization to execution with added support from Alliance Partner, Research in Motion (News - Alert).

Backed by RIM, the travel super app had already gained immense popularity among Smartphone users. With expertise in Location Based Services, DbyDx Software leveraged BlackBerry’s in-built GPS capabilities within the application to provide accurate search results to users. Using the application, Smartphone users can easily locate nearby restaurants while receiving accurate and detailed information including images, contact numbers and user reviews.

In a press release, Abhishek Vinod Singh, CEO at DbyDx Software said, “MakeMyTrip gave the travel sector a new Avatar which created a great buzz about online travel booking. Creating a BlackBerry travel application gave us a great opportunity to prove our skill and expertise in this domain. ‘MakeMyTrip Mobile’ is a super app, with its user friendly features and usability. As a strong player in the location based services, this application brings forth an amalgamation of logistics with leisure as one can search flights and nearby restaurants at the same time.”

As a worldwide provider of technology, outsourcing, and consulting services, SKAN DbyDx provides time, effort and cost benefits to its entire client base including start-up, emerging, and established technology companies.

With specialization in Mobile Application development, DbyDx has partnered with RIM to provide location based services. The company develops various mobile apps on latest platforms including iPhone (News - Alert), BlackBerry, Android, Symbian, Windows mobile, J2ME and Palm Pre.
