Aria Systems, Inc., a provider of cloud billing and subscription management solutions, announces the selection of Aria (News - Alert) Platform Standard Edition by HootSuite, the Social Media Dashboard.

HootSuite will deploy Aria's SaaS platform to automate monetization of subscription features and services delivered in a 'freemium' model that provides a free core offering with additional paid features. HootSuite is a popular social media client which allows its users to monitor and post content to popular social networks including Twitter, Facebook (News - Alert), LinkedIn, and Ping.fm.

HootSuite was looking to develop recurring revenue streams for premium features and services that provide additional value on top of HootSuite's core free client. The Social Media Dashboard required a revenue automation platform which was capable of supporting a 'freemium' business model; provide secure payment card handling and immediate service activation for paying customers, as well as automation for downstream billing and collections processes.

HootSuite has a history showcasing agility and rapid evolution. They were in need of a 'future-proof' monetization platform that was capable of supporting their current model while providing complete flexibility for the future. In addition to this the platform had to be capable of integrating easily with their back office accounting systems.

He explained that the Aria platform gave them flexibility, ease of integration, and robust monetization capabilities.
