Ciena announced a new intelligent analytics service, Ciena Insights Service. The newly unveiled offering enables network operators a means of sidestepping the complexity in ascertaining actionable insights toward network performance.

There are three tiers of the Ciena Insights Service, each delivered via subscription-based model and offering much needed insight. Each tier delivers three tenants. Firs t Discover: network operators gain visibility into service ability, network assets, network health and areas of risk. The Ciena service analyzes with the power of machine learning to provide actionable insight for network optimization. Thirdly, the service helps network operators predict issues before they occur, ensuring minimal outages keeping customers happy along the way.
The cloud-based, analytics-as-a-service offering joins a robust portfolio of networking solutions and consulting services, as it complements Ciena’s Blue Planet Analytics (BPA).
