Airaya (News - Alert), a provider of outdoor wireless multipoint and backhaul WirelessGRID-300 and WirelessGRID systems, announced their next generation WirelessGRID-300 radios has received Federal Communications Commission (FCC (News - Alert)), Industry Canada, and Anatel Certification for Operation In 4.9 GHz Licensed Public Safety Bands.

These high-performance radios are available for 4.8GHz to 6.1GHz and 2.2GHz to 2.7 GHz wireless multipoint and backhaul solutions for military, government, public safety and commercial broadband wireless markets. Frequency availability by market is dependent on local regulatory rules.

Airaya officials say the high speed, low latency and cost effective nature of WirelessGRID-300 systems is opening new applications connecting VoIP networks and Wireless Security surveillance systems.

WirelessGRID-300 products are available in different configurations.
